Isotta Fraschini ‘evaluating’ possibility of two cars in WEC
A spokesman for car manufacturer Vector stated that they are considering the possibility of having a second car on the grid with another team for the entire season, but this does not change Vector’s plan to run a single Isotta Fraschini car in the series. This opens up the option for another team to enter an Isotta Fraschini Tipo 6 LMH Competizione into the championship. Possible teams that could enter are Duqueine and Emil Frey Racing, but it is unlikely that either team will be accepted with a second Isotta Fraschini next year. Isotta Fraschini continues to test its car, most recently completing 251 laps and 1341 km at Motorland Aragon with drivers Marco Bonanomi, Matteo Malucelli, and Jean Karl Vernay. The tests went well, despite a small electronic problem on the first day, and the team is satisfied with the progress made.
